Why me
- 17 years at Booz Allen, most recently as Director of Proposal Pricing. I built the pricing system Booz Allen still uses on its proposals.
- Federal, state, local and commercial. I know how evaluators score, and how to price to win without leaving money on the table.
- Recent result: wrote a 50-page RFP response for a Southern California architecture firm that won the $500k project.
What I do
Full RFP responses
Compliance matrix, technical approach, management plan, staffing, past performance and the price proposal, built to the solicitation's evaluation criteria.
Qualification packages
SOQs, RFQs, RFQuals and SF330s for design-build and A/E selections: team narrative, approach, project sheets and resumes.
Price proposals
Labor categories, rates, cost build-ups and basis-of-estimate narratives. The part most small firms dread, and my specialty.
Reviews
A scored review of your draft against the evaluation criteria before you submit, with specific fixes.
Pricing
Fixed fees, agreed before work starts. On commercial and state/local bids, part of the fee can be tied to your win instead of paid up front.
| Service | Starting at |
|---|---|
| Proposal review (scored, with fixes) | $750 |
| Qualification package (SOQ / RFQ / RFQual) | $1,500 |
| Price proposal only | $2,500 |
| Full RFP response | $3,500 |
Final fee depends on page limits, number of volumes and the deadline. You'll have a fixed quote within a day of sending the solicitation.
How it works
- 15-minute call. Send the solicitation number; we go over scope, deadline and what you already have.
- Fixed quote and kickoff. One working session with your lead to capture approach, team and projects.
- First full draft within a week. Then revisions until it's ready to submit, well ahead of the deadline.
